Form N-336, Request for a Haring on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings
Form N-336 is used to appeal an adverse decision for an individual applicant. Form N-335 must be filed within thirty calendar days after service of the adverse decision. The date of service, for purposes of Form N-336, is usually the date the decision was rendered. An attorney or authorized representative may file Form N-336 on behalf of an applicant but must also file a Form G-28 in order to do so.
Form N-336 does not require that a brief be filed concurrently with the form. However, the applicant or his attorney or representative, may file a brief with Form N-336. A written statement and any supporting evidence may be also submitted with Form N-336.
For any address change, the Form N-336 applicant must inform the USCIS of such change when filing Form N-336.
For any Form N-336 applicant who knowingly and willfully falsify or conceal a material fact or submit a false statement with Form N-336, USCIS will deny the Form N-336 and may deny any other immigration benefit. Furthermore, the Form N-336 who knowingly makes false statements may face severe penalties provided by law and may be subject to criminal prosecution.
