Form I-924, Application For Regional Center Under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program

Form I-924

Form I-924 is used for an investor applicant to request from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to request designation of an entity to be regional center under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program.

Form I-924 may be filed by an individual on behalf of a State or local government agency, a corporation, a partnership, or any other existing legal entity established in the United States. The individual filing Form I-924 must possess executive or managerial authority to seek the Regional Center designation.

Each recenter center which has been designated by USCIS must file a Form I-924 Supplement for each fiscal year. The Form I-924 with Supplement must be filed within ninety days after the end of the fiscal year (on or before December 29) of the calendar year in which the fiscal year ended.

Form I-924 requires that each Regional Center focus on a specific geographical area. Pursuant to Form I-924 the geographical area must be contiguous and clearly identified in the application. The Form I-924 application must include a detailed map of the proposed area.

Furthermore, each Form I-924 application must provide detailed explanations as to how a minimum of ten new full-time jobs will be created by each individual alien investor within the proposed Regional Center if the Form I-924 application is granted.
